Readers,
Happy Super Bowl Sunday. Depending on what kind of day you are likely to have, please take some time to enjoy this week's paper before you attend a 9-layer-dip party and/or watch tonight's episode of Downton Abbey.
I can't decide which weeks are more satisfying and/or fun to curate, the lighter or heavier side of the news cycle. This week there is a plethora of harder news and less pop culture-y stuff. Every week brings a different emotional roller coaster of reading the internet pretty much all day, pretty much all week in order to select what goes in. I have my own weird version of FOMO which is not the version where I actually fear missing out on something that someone else is doing, but quite literally wondering if I have actually missed something, like a huge piece of news or the best "take" on a widely covered subject.
Since the total headcount of our global news bureaus, design teams, subscriber growth, and intern program is still a number just south of two, it'll just have to do! Each week, though, I do get some great and interesting submissions--I thank you for each and every mini-crowd-sourcing efforts--I think it makes the paper really interesting and I very frequently discover new topics, publications, or get to know a reader in a new way. Please send me any items of interest or send questions/comments: here.
Here's this week's best attempt at covering news by and about women in business, politics, digital, media, film, tv, fashion, sports, literature and general pop culture. You can peruse the back catalogue for the issues you missed, forward the Paper to someone you think would enjoy it, or sign up at LZSundayPaper.com.
Sometimes there's so much interesting stuff out there I can't wait 'til Sunday so I tweet it during the week. Follow me @LZSundayPaper.
See you next week, after a (frustratingly) short trip to Paris!

The LZ Sunday Paperâ„¢ (soon to be registered trademarked and copyrighted) launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes in size high, medium, and low. Our audience for this content is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
