Dear Subscribers,
Happy Valentine's Day!
This has been another head-spinning week.
Racists and purported sexual harassers at the highest levels of one state's government --Question: is anyone *not* a racist and/or sexual harasser?
Nancy Pelosi's clap-back -- good job!
Justice Roberts seems sane -- for the moment.
The world's richest man being roundly praised for defending his right to send (and keep private) his dick-pics to his mistress -- hard to argue with. But…ewwww.
…while at the same time he is being excoriated for the company's own sleazy-seeming plan for a warehouse in Queens.
Speaking of warehouses, it seems like Amazon has actually installed their controversial new warehouse right here in Greenwich Village, in my building's vestibule. The hundreds of package deliveries we receive per day are a symptom of our on-demand and on-line-ordering lives. The packages come via hand-truck, actual truck, laundry bin, bicycle, sack, and every other means.
So it's time to renovate our super-mod, architecturally special, mid-century building. You can imagine that the 360 residents of this building are fully united in their approach to design, security, logistics, and budget.
No really, I have to go draft a letter to my own co-op board. The community of shareholders is wrestling with a proposal to address solutions to the challenge of having a 24/7 loading dock which used to be our front entrance.
Those of you who know me know that I struggle to write even a short, coherent note to you readers each week. Now I feel compelled, for the first time in ~30 years as a co-op resident, to write one.
Gotta go do that.
Enjoy this co-operative digest of the most important news by and about women in business, politics, the arts and pop culture. I craft it every single week, hand-picked, especially for you. Click here to become a subscriber.
I hope you are enjoying Black History Month. There is no end to the education and world-view expansion from which we can benefit in February, and every other day of the year, too.
Send me articles, photos, or videos you think are interesting, important, or amusing here. Especially, right now but also always, those which feature African-American subjects and themes.

The LZ Sunday Paperâ„¢ launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes high and low, not much in between. Our audience is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect to deliver at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
