Dear Readers,
Thank you for your continued close reading of my newsletter. I got lots of reader mail last week correcting me about the provenance of Christina Tosi's, not David Chang's, Milk Bar. After I read this recent article I understood better why I made the mistake. But apologies, and kudos, to Ms.Tosi.
This week's innovation at home was peeling back the living room rug, making room for 4 workout spaces using yoga mats. A few dongles and a USB cable later we are all hooked up to our TV, with a Peloton 3-month free trial and the world of live Zoom workouts (go on mute and block your video!) and YouTube yoga classes aplenty.
Last Sunday, we had a brilliant Zoom-hosted surprise birthday party with 60+ attendees. It was a new kind of joyous celebration while making the best of a very tough time.
Sadly, yesterday, I attended a new kind of condolence call, a Zoom-hosted shiva--or mourning--gathering for a good friend's brother. My friend is an amazing person who I met through this newsletter. She is a frequent contributor and, frankly, collaborator.
This week's sad, soulful and appropriate counterpart to last week's party, with all the FaceTimes and virtual this-and-thats is just a reminder of how to figure things out, how to live, how to get on with it, alone and together.
Have a good day today. This a must-read shortlist of the most important, thought-provoking news about women in politics, business, media, health, the arts, and pop culture. And a lot about Coronavirus.
Thank you, readers aplenty but especially Julie, Nancy, Nancy, Lisa, Lisa, Hilary, Hillary, David, Jason, Elyse, Patrick, and John, for sending me corrections and comments, along with articles, photos, or videos you think I need to see. Continue to send them here. If you are not already, click here to become a subscriber.

The LZ Sunday Paperâ„¢ launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes high and low, not much in between. Our audience is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect to deliver at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
