Dear Readers,
Again, this is gonna be a short & sweet note to y'all, as I've now embraced another red-eye, another tennis tourney (thanks for asking, I played well but did not make the finals), and fabulous houseguests who are 100% self-sufficient but so enjoyable as to be considered a distraction to the editorial top-note of the Sunday Paper.
A contribution of said houseguest, also a great contributor to (and supporter of) The LZSP, is the following beach-appropriate quote from Aristophanes:
"You cannot teach a crab to walk straight."
Thanks, Dave!
I'm writing this as the news and its aftermath regarding the nationalist / white supremacist march continues to unfold. Its origins and its aftermath are heartbreaking and repugnant.
Let's try to celebrate some progress, even if it is confounding and overwhelming every week. Here is a variety of news about and by women in business, media, digital, politics, and pop culture. Send me comments, questions, or stuff you think should go in next week's edition here. I have a bajillion pieces that I just don't have room for in the weekly edition, so you can follow me on Twitter to get a daily fix.
I am on Insta @LZSundayPaper-- where I just got my most liked post, courtesy of Christ Evert. Classic ladies, iconic and (tennis)-inspirational and others can be found there.
And a downward glance perspective can be viewed at @LZFloors .
See you next week!

The LZ Sunday Paperâ„¢ launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes high and low, not much in between. Our audience is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect to deliver at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
