Dear Subscribers,
Happy last day of Women's History Month.
Spring Break Recap:
--Marfa, TX -- top notch art and experiential sojourn. Do it. Worth it.
--Big Bend National Park -- a winner for hiking and mountain biking.
--White Sands National Park -- very weird, very eerie, very unexpected. drive there if you have 8 hours to kill between El Paso and Santa Fe.
--Many other superb stops in their own way. We drove miles to have Texas BBQ three days in a row from a weird truck on the road just outside Terlingua.
Best of all was getting a ping from dear, old friends who got the newsletter last Sunday and said "hey, we're in West Texas, too!" So we met up for dinner in Alpine, and remarked upon the upside of digital communication combined with coincidence. Cheers, John & Janet!
And here is a pictorial smattering of the road trip:
Instagram-ready Marfa, TX. Is it art? or is it a coffee shop?*

Frequent Border Patrol stops all along the Texas roadways, with Mexico just a few miles away.
Universal sentiment amongst locals that we spoke with.
Reststop on a Big Bend hike. No, it's not an optical illusion. At 5'8" I am the tiny person amongst my family of 5.
That speck is Dale, very far away in the very weird White Sands National Park, like the Sahara in the middle of nowheresville, NM.

And then yes, a one-day quick add-on/biz-trip to LA to top it off. Am loving staying at this new, chic enclave even though I will always be loyal to its mothership property, my original home-away-from-home in LA.
A waterfall of unexpected obligations and attachments greeted me upon my return. So here we go, partner, right on into this week's Sunday Paper. It's just about all you need to know about women in business, politics, news, and the culture.
Send me articles, photos, or videos you think are interesting, important, or amusing here.

The LZ Sunday Paperâ„¢ launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes high and low, not much in between. Our audience is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect to deliver at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
