Dear Readers,
In deference to the Eve of Yom Kippur, to the memory of Ruth Bader Ginsberg and Breonna Taylor, to the fate of Democracy, and to the fact that I don't have definitive mattress news to report yet, I'm going to take a pause on the life update blog intro.
Welcome to many new subscribers this week. This is a place where you can usually count on a very strong opinion, somewhat loosely invoked. This is a place where you can always read the week's most important news by, for, and about women in politics, business, pop culture, the arts, science, academia, sports--basically…life. Send me resources, articles, photos, or videos you think I need to see right here.

You still have a *tiny* bit of time to get written into the Book Of Life. Choose what you do today wisely and with peace. The best advice in the signoff a fellow businesswoman's email yesterday was with "may you have a reflective Yom Kippur." Thank you, Karen.
The best piece of mattress advice I got this week was from another friend was a word from the wisest, his mother: "never skimp on your haircut, shoes, or mattress." Thank you, David and Harriet.
Oh and in another possible miracle situation, my toe is possibly, finally, maybe, actually getting better. (New subscribers, don't ask).
Amen,
LZ

The LZ Sunday Paperâ„¢ launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes high and low, not much in between. Our audience is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect to deliver at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
