Readers,
It's our last week before Memorial Day! Spring is flying by and summer is upon us.
A quick look forward and a brief look back--all self-promotional in nature, fyi:
Looking forward: If you are taking Friday off to get a jump on the long weekend--or even if you're not--you can most certainly stay up until 9pm Eastern and try to Beat Shazam! But before you do, make sure you have downloaded the App so you can Shazam the show while it's on, hear great songs, and impress your friends and family.
Another feat of fate: the TV Gods have brought me back together-- in fact back2back in the TV scheduling grid -- with my ex-co-worker and current-friend Andy Cohen, who is the absolute perfect host for the show that immediately follows mine (and by "mine" I mean Fox Network, MGM Television, Mark Burnett, and Apploff Entertainment). I don't know anyone who is not already following this man on one of his 97 social media feeds but in case you are not, you should. You might make a #LoveConnection!
The look back on my week is to inform you that I was blown away by the smart, energetic, creative graduates of the Parsons/The New School Design class of 2017, to whom I delivered a commencement speech. I was inspired by these students who are, I truly believe, going to change the world. You can read it here and give me a grade!
Speaking of the world which is being changed, I sincerely hope that my and Andy's shows provide the drama this week instead of turning to the political realm for our meddle-tainment.
Send me stuff you think should go in next week's edition here.
You can follow me on Twitter or on Insta @LZSundayPaper
Headed back to the East Coast tonight! Will miss LA. Though, I don't know why people make such a big deal out of the palm trees and blue skies and sunshine and all that, cuz for me it keeps delivering on looking down @LZFloors is the beneficiary.
See you next week--from another commencement ceremony. No speech--I'm an attendee!

The LZ Sunday Paperâ„¢ launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes high and low, not much in between. Our audience is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect to deliver at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
