Dear Readers,
Happy Spring Break, part II, edition. I'm filing from both cold and hot climes, almost on the same day. All East Coast. The span: northern Vermont to south Florida. The ski trip by car was pretty last minute, the siren snow-call of the third Nor'Easter within 3 weeks too good to ignore. But the "Beer, here!" siren call of the last days of Spring Training we maybe should have ignored. So far, the spur-of-the-moment Florida leg has yielded a pre-6am wake-up, an Uber driver who pulled over while demanding to know the exact terminal number before he would head to the airport, and now (thank you Sky-Fi!) a scattering of middle-seats in and amongst a massive 5-and-under plane cohort.
With apologies to Lady Liberty and Emma Lazarus' 'The Colossus':
Jet Blue: Give me your tired, your hungry,
your antsy masses yearning to go to a fancy resort,
the wretched oversized car seats, diaper bags and battery-waning iPads,
send these, the crying, the vomiting, turbulence-tossed to Grandma's!
Next week, I will report in on a) the state of my communal seder and b) whether or not I have successfully done my yoga center's March 30-in-31 class challenge. While it started out feasible for me to go every day it turned out that two trips have forced a two-a-day regime. I'm not sure this is actually the point. But if you put a challenge and a raffle for a free year of yoga in front of me, I am going to make a Chaturangariffic attempt to complete it. FYI As of the 23rd I have 24 classes under my belt after being away for 7 days in March! I feel confident that I can squeeze in another 6 when we get back on Tuesday.

The LZ Sunday Paperâ„¢ launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes high and low, not much in between. Our audience is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect to deliver at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
