Greetings, fellow readers,
Happy Hot August!
This week, summed up by a few pictures.
Which one of these board games would you be likely to play on a rainy day at your summer camp in Maine?
I had a horrible dream last night. I couldn't take a picture of it but if I had to sum it up, it would look like this montage:
Maybe participating in a "Secret History" piece for this great publication is what gave me a nightmare?
In any case, this is what I was doing 20 Years Ago:
This sign posted an instruction that summed up a feeling I am sure we have all had at one point or another. Relatable though it may be, I thought it was somewhat aggressive for a small airport in Maine:
Today's instruction:
Do Not Stop
Keep Reading
I still get many questions about why this should or should not be considered a feminist blog. It's true that I rarely write the top of the Paper on a topic having explicitly to do with women. But it's all about the articles: they are the point of this whole thing. Every week, they are about, but not exclusively for, women in business, digital, tech, media, music, tv, film, fashion, sports, and pop culture.
Please be sure to send any interesting items you see along the way here.
This week's tech issue is that, for some reason, the Archive disappeared off my web page, so you can't peruse it, but you can still sign up at LZSundayPaper.com.
Sometimes there's so much interesting stuff out there I can't wait 'til Sunday so I tweet it during the week. Follow me @LZSundayPaper.
Thank you! See you from L.A. next week where it will be less hot than Manhattan and likely less mosquito-y than either Maine or Long Island!
LZ

The LZ Sunday Paperâ„¢ (soon to be registered trademarked and copyrighted) launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes in size high, medium, and low. Our audience for this content is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
