Dear Readers,
Eggheads unite! Thank you, Nick, for pointing out that while you are greatly enjoying my recent addition of the In Memorium (sp.) section, it is actually In Memoriam. Latin was not my suitus strongium.
More user feedback-- I get thoughtful comments from a few readers each week wondering about the clips I use that are behind a subscription paywall.
It is a struggle, for sure-- to bring the best, spot-on content for the newsletter balanced with what is not behind a paywall so that subscribers can fully enjoy. If it is a general subject and I can find a great, all-access piece, I include it. Sometimes, the specific article is just too good, or the reporter's take is not reflected as keenly anywhere else, so even if it's behind the paywall I include it. For many pubs, they give a certain amount of free content per month; for others, I recognize it's frustrating that it's 100% pay. At the end of a few years of doing this, I realize that content and what it takes for these journalists and organizations behind them to report great stuff just isn't free, so I've made the decision personally to support more and more outlets particularly local papers and magazines. That said, I recognize the frustration and, again, appreciate you telling me.
In a rare Covid-19 situation, I thought I was having houseguests this weekend. But after a lot of back and forth, will it rain or won't it? Do we have Covid tests or don't we? Can you get lobsters delivered by boat on Sunday? Full up meal prep and a major anti-cat-hair initiative, well the day went fast and so, maybe better for you, now it's straight to the news. It's actually so choc-a-block I am considering a first-ever mid-week edition. We'll see if your Inbox beckons or not, this lazy-Ish last week of summer, as August shockingly turns to September.
I do still have time to give you another great resource to support--thank you Clara and Rahsan for sharing it with me: The Brotherhood/Sister Sol They focus on underrepresented youth in New York City to help them learn and cope with issues such as sexual responsibility, sexism and misogyny, along with leadership development and educational achievement. Though based locally, they have impact across the nation through publishing research papers and curricula for national use.
Send me more resources, plus any articles, photos, or videos you think I need to see right here.

Okay P.S. houseguests just postponed 'til tomorrow. I have a very clean house and a whole lot of food. Will report back on the fate of the lobsters.

The LZ Sunday Paperâ„¢ launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes high and low, not much in between. Our audience is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect to deliver at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
