Dear Readers,
The LZ Sunday Paper is getting political this week.
The masthead -- did you notice? (Thank you, Nick N.!). Well even if you didn't, please do notice that I'm co-hosting an event with a great group of friends to support the Harris/Biden and down-ballot campaigns.
Deputy Campaign Manager Rufus Gifford will give us insight directly into the campaign, the night before the second and final Presidential Debate. You will be free to ask any question you'd like in this intimate forum. Anything from 'what if…?' Election Day scenarios to questions about Biden's plan for diversity, equity and inclusion. Rufus will also have the latest insights into recent, critical polling data.
DATE: Wednesday October 21st, 2020 5:00PM EST // 2:00PM PST

Rufus Gifford and I have a personal connection--he went to Brown University, he's an out, gay man married to a veterinarian, and he was the star of a reality show in Denmark while he was the ambassador for President Obama!--which is why I'm co-hosting that particular event.
But if you'd prefer a different kind of event, one that is just as interesting and important and perhaps it's even more in keeping with the LZ Sunday Paper pro-woman stance. You can join a Virtual Conversation about Uniting our Country with Jill Biden and Cindy McCain They will have extremely interesting things to share. Very personal, in conversation with each other, and then in q&a with the attendees.
That's Wednesday, October 21, 2020. 6:15PM EDT // 3:15PM PDT

Okay, now back to our regularly scheduled programming. The winning mattress brand-- the story of which you've all traveled with me on the path of-- was successfully delivered Tuesday. The Schifman was, as billed by mattress expert Mell at Bloomingdale's of Short Hills, NJ, and as tested in-store at 59th St, NYC (yes, Covid-safely), is just right for us.
If you haven't yet been put to sleep by this political hectoring and mattress discussion, snap to it, stay awake and read the most important news by and about women in politics, business, pop culture, and sports.
Every week, you can send me any articles, photos, or videos you think I need to see right here.

Many have asked "what else can I do?" "How can I connect others?" This is just one way. There are tons of volunteer opportunities, as well. Thanks again for allowing me get slightly political and use this forum to call for support of the Presidential and down-ballot campaigns. Even a token really helps. I really appreciate it, knowing how tapped out and unsolicited-messaged bombed we all are.

The LZ Sunday Paper™ launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes high and low, not much in between. Our audience is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect to deliver at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
