Happy Pride Month,
News & Notes:
++I'm landing in L.A. today and have gotten many emails from my West Hollywood hotel about local traffic closures and general mayhem. Could it be any different/more intense than living in my first apaprtment, on the corner of Christopher & Bleecker Streets, or then 12th St & 6th Avenue, during either the Pride or Greenwich Village Halloween Parades? I don't think so.
++I watched the first season of the show everyone is talking about-- no, not Big Little Lies Season 2, but Fleabag. It is like a cross between Girls and Catastrophe, but for people 10 years older. And British. Watch it an you will feel smart and in-the-know on Emmy night.
++Just a few years ago, when we used to garner press for various films and tv shows or interviews with execs at work, our press folks used to apologetically say "I'm not sure we can get it into the paper, it might 'only' run online." This week, someone who is working on a big story for a company I'm working with said, "Oh, I am sure it will be in the paper but I don't know if we'll be able to get them to promote it on the app."
++It's tennis season. And I don't mean the Grand Slam tournaments. Get ready for another summer of ups, downs, foot-faults, and, hopefully, no more fox-stolen tennis shoes.

The LZ Sunday Paperâ„¢ launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes high and low, not much in between. Our audience is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect to deliver at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
