It is High Summer.
High Tennis Season: for the many who asked-- I made it to the semi-finals! But lost 8-6 in a great match against the ultimate winner of the tourney.
High Houseguest Season: for all who didn't ask-- we have been welcoming friends, relatives, friends of friends and relatives of relatives.
High Covid-delayed Wedding Season: next weekend we are headed to Boston for a year+-delayed wedding & celebration for the daughter of my closest camp friend. 1976 was a wild time to go to a rigorous, yet hippie-ish, music school in Vermont. It is even wilder that 45 years later this is the event we are celebrating together. Mazel Tov to all the music yet to be played and studied together!
High time to read this week's edition of fabulous, important articles by and about women in the news. It is essential stuff, hand-picked by me, for you. From politics to business, business to the arts, focusing on women who have changed what it means to be a woman in the world, pieces you may have missed and have to read to be in the know and on the front lines of pop culture.
