Dear Friends and Followers,
Happy Halloween.
My parents loved holidays. My mom was born on Halloween. She will turn 92! Hooray for Gloria! However, last Thanksgiving night, she had to go to the hospital. My father was born on Labor Day. Sadly, he died on July 4th just a few years ago. The man loved a barbecue, that is for sure.
On the birth front, I might be continuing the holiday tradition for the next generation -- one of my kids was born on Groundhog Day. We gave out a copy of the movie as the parting gift, custom-stickered, at her bat mitzvah. Yes, DVD's were still a thing in 2005.
I apologize for the brevity of the note-- or maybe it's a gift-- I'm rushing out for a business trip, but not before I've pulled some of the most important, thought-provoking news about women in politics, news, business, media, campus life, health, science, the arts, and pop culture. Just for you.

The LZ Sunday Paperâ„¢ launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes high and low, not much in between. Our audience is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect to deliver at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
