Clickers, Readers, All those who hope for consistently >32-degree temps, and to those who like abbreviations and initials of all sorts:
Here is this week's edition of the LZSP, IMHO a good one.
To re-cap, we are back in NYC. SXSW was short and sweet. I introduced a presentation by two women who explained their new company and their strong feminist film-maker world view to an engaged audience. They would re-name the festival SXXSW if they could, because their company name has the initials XX in it, so maybe that's why we fit very comfortably into the X-iest part of SXSW. ICYMI, some of the XY chromosomal contingent came under fire at the festival for not being able to share the stage with other XX chromosomal panelists respectfully. You can read more about that, below.
Then, LAX put the X--and me--back in LA, post SXSW. I spoke with a great group of folks, talking about some of the perceived, and real, differences in approaches to content, tech, and consumers in LA, SF, and NYC. I thought we shared the stage--which was really a packed, amazingly appointed living room--very nicely.
FWIW, this week's personal update, like this week itself, is short-ish & sweet-ish.
The news clips below, as per usual-ish, are about women in business, politics, digital, tech, media, music, tv, film, fashion, sports, and culture. This week's WNTLA may most certainly throw MailChimp into a Spam Folder tizzy.
Alert: It's possible that next week's LZSP will be noticeably beach-brain influenced.

The LZ Sunday Paper™ (soon to be registered trademarked and copyrighted) launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes in size high, medium, and low. Our audience for this content is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
