Readers,
Just when I thought I was going to take an August Hiatus, I had a sudden uptick of subscribers this week. So who am I to disappoint the new legions of Sunday Paper enthusiasts? And who am I not to say thank you for a spectacular round of contributions from readers this week-- Thank you pen-pal-turned-IRL-friend Julie, first-time contributor Jennifer, Nancy, Lisa, BZ, Lucy, and a host of others.
Media Pro-Tips:
If you can go out of your house to see a movie, go see a documentary: Three Identical Strangers, RBG, or Mr. Rogers. If you are up for seeing a movie that was really good, but one that critics seemed to have a tough time liking, see Gus Van Sant's You Won't Get Far On Foot. I also really enjoyed a small movie called Hearts Beat Loud.
If you haven't yet watched Sharp Objects with Amy Adams and Patricia Clarkson, now's a good time to binge-start, cuz it's getting good. If you want to know the secret funniest most intensely absurd comedy that I watch exclusively because it's on the American Airlines entertainment hub, it's Vice Principals, also on HBO. I cannot get enough of this show.
If you can read a book, read the very weird and good Convenience Store Woman, by Sayaka Murata.
At least for this week, read the most important news items by and about women in business, politics, and the best of pop culture. If you aren't already a subscriber, sign up here. You'll receive the newsletter each week, straight to your inbox each Sunday morning. And do keep sending me articles, photos, or videos you think are interesting here.

Like I said, I may be taking a rest-of-August hiatus. Work, travel. Focus on my summer social (aka tennis game + tourney) schedule. So I might see you next week, I might see you later in August. If not, I will definitely see you in September.
LZ.

The LZ Sunday Paperâ„¢ launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes high and low, not much in between. Our audience is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect to deliver at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
