Readers,
Happy Halloweekend!
For those of you who wrote to me to let me know, or told me in person, that last week's editor's note was sub-optimal (short and relatively opinion-free) I apologize. And I will try to do better. As we approach
t-minus 9 days to Election Day, this would be a Sunday on which you'd think I'd have lots to say. However, the beauty of this being a labor of love, not a job; a blog, not a newspaper or magazine opinion column (though I'm open to it!) I'm instead going to recommend three Twitter accounts that are a good respite from the din. Of course, going on Twitter to find any of three accounts will likely cause you to scroll past all the opinions you'll ever need to hear about, on politics or any topic.
Amusing Twitter Account Number One:
Sample Tweet:
Okay if you don't remember/never knew/maybe don't care, the Oxford comma is the last comma before the "and" in a list of things. Now you can re-read the Tweet and get the joke. Or, if I ever write a book and the copy editor also doesn't care about the Oxford Comma, the inscription could read something like "To my parents, Hillary Clinton and Bob Dylan."
Amusing Twitter Account Number Two:
Sample Tweet:
Okay maybe not up your alley, but this is the absolute best place to see alot of goats doing goat-ish things that I otherwise wouldn't know about. Especially the baby goats.
Amusing and only somewhat more profound Twitter Account Number Three:
Sample Tweet:
So that's the reco's for this week.
All the news that's fit to email is down below: By and about women in politics, business, tech, the arts, sports, and pop culture. And a special smattering of Halloworthy nuggets snuck in there. For more news during the week follow me on Twitter @LZSundayPaper.
Thank you, faithful co-curators! Keep sending anything of interest-- or your questions/comments: here.
If Instagram is more your speed, enjoy @LZSundayPaper.
I've added a couple of floor-snaps this week. Check out the 100% gender-neutral @LZFloors.
Watch out for razor blades in apples and emails in computers.

The LZ Sunday Paperâ„¢ launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes high and low, not much in between. Our audience is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect to deliver at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
