Dear Readers,
Here's what's going to happen this week:
I will be in New York City because my Europe-based board meeting was canceled.
Harvey will be sentenced and I -- and thousands, millions? -- of people will be happy in direct proportion to how long the sentence is.
There will be more hand-wringing over why Elizabeth Warren was abandoned by voters. And we will look to see if we can get excited about Jill Biden as a first lady. So far, so good.
Probably there will be some talk about it being either way too hot or way too cold for early March, but we will all enjoy the longer daylight hours even as we curse the pitch-black mornings.
Gosh, what a downer I'm being! Okay here are some media/watch/see recommendations, though one of them is for NYC-area denizens:
This one-woman (plus a walk-on, by another) play, 'Dana H.,' about playwright Lucas Hnath's mother. It's kind of traumatic but riveting. It's like a crime podcast that I would have zero interest in listening to, but IRL, with pretty brilliant staging and a pretty extraordinary inhabitance of a role, I was into it.
Did you ever wonder why all of a sudden all these studios give "hot yoga" classes rather than "Bikram Yoga" classes? This pretty straightforward documentary about this creepy, predatory, famous Yogi, Bikram Choudhury will give you a very good indication.
Did you read 'Olive Kitteridge,' by Nobel Prize winner Elizabeth Strout? If so, you will surely want to read its sequel, or continuance, of sorts, 'Olive, Again.' It's the kind of book that I just keep avoiding the last twenty pages of because a) it's too good, b) it's too sad and c) I just don't want it to be over.
Okay well on that note, my media recomms might be even more depressing than my intro. Sorry about that!
Let's move on to the news you absolutely have to read in today's Newsletter. Start clicking through today’s most important, thought-provoking news about women in politics, business, media, health, the arts, and pop culture. As per usual, I guarantee you at least one harumph, one judgmental smirk, and one chuckle. See you from more positive climes, hopefully, next week.

The LZ Sunday Paper™ launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes high and low, not much in between. Our audience is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect to deliver at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
