Readers,
A few post election media notes and news. In the conspiracy-minded, depressed ecosphere that is our lives, here are three to see/stream. Also, if one conspiracy theory holds and no merger is big enough to stave off the collapse of traditional television media and streaming television is taking over the world, you better give up and just start binging.
By far and away, leave it to the Brits to do it best. Brooding, sexy (for the Brits), biggest hit in the UK since 'Downton' has been imported by Netflix: The Bodyguard
Do you have any young people living in your house? They are watching Emma Stone and Jonah Hill in Maniac. Most folks love it. Some don't. I am re-watching the entire thing --also on Netflix-- in its original Norwegian format. If something is getting lost in translation, I don't mind because all of the English in the remake put me in the second category.
I have never seen a better reviewed series--quite literally--than Julia Roberts' 'Homecoming.' It was not translated from a Scandinavian format, but it was from a runaway-hit podcast of the same name. And now there is a podcast of the making of the podcast into a TV series, which is questionable. But okay a small podcast purveyor in Brooklyn has the right to some humblebrags if their first tv endeavor is this.
Apologies for the post-election tardiness of delivery today.

The LZ Sunday Paperâ„¢ launched at the dawn of 2014. We expose and recirculate interesting content that is about, and frequently by, women in business, with a dose of ultra-relevant culture. We think that culture comes high and low, not much in between. Our audience is vast and not gender-driven. Every week we expect to deliver at least one good laugh. Send suggestions, clips, or names of people you think might enjoy this to LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
