The "For Never and Never" Edition
Dear Readers,
Happy Halloween and, same day, Happy 95th Birthday to one: Gloria Zalaznick!
Guess what? I forgot to mention that I made a podcast and it launched a couple of weeks ago. Well, my friend Joel Stein made a podcast and I helped. I think it’s really fun and pretty good. It’s like ‘The Daily,’ but for long, complicated, interesting feature articles that you may not have time to read fully…or to the end. Or, they are interesting first person narratives that have an added layer of texture and dimension when you get to hear the author of the article in dialogue with Joel’s smart funny questions. An article I ran right here in the LZSP was the basis for the most recent episode. Apparently we’re supposed to do 40 of them so…37 left to go! No really, they are fun and the right length and you might want to give it a listen.
Next week, I will give you my Great White Way report and perhaps tell the story of how I have basically spent my entire retirement fund on attempting to see one particular show. Was it worth it? You’ll have to tune in next week to find out.
See? I’m still super-good at ‘addictive content.’
This week you will indeed be addicted to all the news of the week by, for, and about women in the news that I’ve chosen for you. From politics to pop culture, with everything in between, this is what you need to know.
If you don’t already subscribe, please do:

And if you have a story you think I may have missed please email me at LZSundayPaper@gmail.com. Oh and, back to the Story Of The Week Podcast, have you read, started but not finished, or lightly skimmed, any interesting super-long, winding, amazing articles recently? If so, send them my way and maybe we’ll turn it into a podcast!
Happy November and don’t forget the time change this Saturday night!
Bewitchedly yours, and Happy Birthday again, Mom!
