The "Gone, Year" Edition
Dear faithful Readers and Subscribers,
Let’s get out of here!
Even if you’re not going far— or anywhere, for that matter—take a couple of weeks off from the world, your brain, or anything else that needs a time out.
My brain and I will be approximately 7,879 miles away (but who’s counting) for a few weeks.
In many ways this was a year of loss. But for me also a year of learning and accomplishment. Hoping to flip the ratio next year. 2024, whaddya know!
Enjoy this last edition of ‘23. It is a somewhat rag tag roundup of the news of the week for, by and about women. From Politics to Pop Culture and beyond. Just for you, from me, curated with care and a distinct point of view.
If you aren’t already a subscriber, you should be by the time the New Year’s ball drops!
Even if in If you have a story you think I may have missed or something to share with me, please do, at LZSundayPaper@gmail.com.
And if you’d like to tell a friend about the Paper, please also do that:
Before I head out, let me sincerely thank you for faithfully reading this weekly missive. And to so many of you who contribute srticles, photos, reviews, and feedback—that is the best gift of all. And to all of you who have said to Substack “yes, I’ll pay!” well even just the sentiment is much appreciated. Maybe I’ll come to appreciate the last 4 digits of your credit card and expiration date even more!
Peace,
LZ
