The "Hell's Bells" Edition
Dear Readers,
Another weekend, another wedding. This one is a car trip, not a plane journey. That said, Friday work plus leaving plus evening event plus Saturday chock full leaves me with a write-the-top-note vs. curate-the-best-and-most-news choice. I choose news!
If I were going to tell you anything else, this week. It would be a) don’t renovate. Just move. b) If you fall for the “it’s just a paint job, really…” trick (not saying I fell hook, line, and sinker into this yearlong, bank-account-emptying abyss, but not saying I didn’t), look around and take note of a couple of things:
Black faucets are IN. What, you say? What even are black faucets? Just saying that these interior decorating trends are all fine, some last for decades, but if you are going to go trendy, and don’t mind seeing it in all your friends houses and maybe your dentist’s office, do it in your furniture, not your fixtures. If you change your mind, you don’t want to have to fix it with six sub-contractors, one of whom has to use a sledgehammer. You want to fix it with a “confirm purchase” click — and maybe custom fabric but again, that is a bit triggering for me right at this point.
Good thing I’ve already read all of these amazing articles by, for, and about women, delivered straight to your inbox. Politics, Business, Culture, The Arts, Sports, and more!

Next week will be another set of deadlines (and time zones), as I will be in Europe. Hopefully. And by “Europe” I mean “Ireland.” So likely it will not have been my last glass of Guinness consumed. Never the less, farewell, St. Patrick’s Day and Happy Purim**!
