The "Next Leg" Edition
Dear Readers,
I hope everyone is enjoying their felt placemats and other leather or felt whatnot. Woolly Clouds founder Andrew and his team from Kyiv, Ukraine are truly amazing, and so thankful as well for any and all support. THANK YOU to my loyal readers and felt-buyers!
I am grateful to have so many close friends and family who are also subscribers, thank you for asking about my Gloria Z. news. We are excited to report that GZ made the move ultra-successfully to an amazing care facility and is (old but) alive and well, last seen devouring an egg salad sandwich and chicken soup.
Gonna be a boring and repetitive few weeks as I boringly and repetitively tell you that I’m off on my next out-and-back European leg of my Spring ‘22 Variant-Here-We-Come Tour! New York holding strong at around 80-90% mask wearing on the Subway and at JFK. On board, close to 0%. Europe, specifically Germany and Luxembourg, we shall see.
Whether you’re in isolation again, or not, please sink deep into at least a few of these articles by, for, and about women, delivered straight to your inbox. The best in Politics, Business, Health, Pop Culture, The Arts, Sports, and more. Enjoy.

Before I go, here are some plane-download observations:
Yellowstone — if you didn’t know, this is the most popular show in the United States. Not Stranger Things, not Ozark, not nothing but Yellowstone. Start with Season 4. Kevin Costner: compelling, star aura. If you like Darlene (Ozark, again), Kelly Reilly is superlative as the female lead. Even better, Piper Perabo goes up against this character and is, simply, delectable.
The Flight Attendant — If you like the unhinged, unapologetic, maybe unsober for even a second type of heroine, Kaley Cuoco delivers. Also Rosie Perez and Zosia Mamet fantastic. I didn’t know who Michelle Gomez is, but she is a superbbbb villainess. A heavy handed visual technique and a repetitive flashback gag maybe took away from my connection to the characters, but I watched the entirety of the Season 1 whodunnit.
Navalny — Given my own (made up) Novichok scare, I wanted to watch this! But the streaming/listings/confusion got to me. CNN+ is no longer so no longer is…Navalny? Anyone who has located this please tell me.
Barry — New Season. YES
Ozark — Final Season. YES
Still trying to watch the rest of I May Destroy you and to actually start Euphoria, as they’ve been taking up precious storage on my phone for over a year, but I’m still scared.
On my Next Up list: Roar
See you next week and thank you again for supporting our Ukrainian Etsy friends, especially now that this is getting even more serious and protracted.
